SUGGESTIONS FOR A SPRING BREAK TRIP - 1

The Spring season has officially arrived in the United States, and many are planning for a “spring break trip.” For those of you living outside New York State, our first suggestion to you is to visit the Empire State. Our reasons for selecting this destination are as follows:

First of all, New York State has many hot spots (places of interests) for adults as well as for teenagers. It is a state rich in history, and has long been a leader in the political, cultural, and economic life of the United States.

One of the principal islands belonging to the state is Manhattan Island, which forms the core of New York City. So, while you are in New York State, visit New York City:

1. It is the city known as the “Big Apple.

2. It is the most populous city in the United States.

3. It is located at the Southern tip of the state and at the Northeast of the most cities in the U.S.

4. It is home to a statue and her lamp, otherwise known as “The Statue of Liberty.”

5. It is also home to Empire State Building, New York Stock Exchange, etc.

6. It is a major financial, insurance, real estate, media and art center in the United State.

7. It is also one of the command centers for the world economy.

There is also “Bax Family Fridays,” organized by Brooklyn Arts Exchange:

1. This place is good for parents who are looking for a place to have fun with their children—to hear a story, sing a song, and play in a colorful, creative space.

2. The event takes place every last Friday of the month and includes a play space (tunnels tents, playhouses, a parachute, big and small balls, scarves, hoops, etc.) from 9.30am to 11.00am.

3. Then, creative and engaging activities led by a storyteller, singer or dance teacher will delight parents and their children from 11.00am – 11.30am.

4. This is a place worth visiting during a spring break trip to New York.
